candice and i got together on a warm monday night at buttertubs marsh to do her maternity photos, we quickly realized the marsh had at least 5 entrances and finally found eachother ! we battled the heat and mosquitos for these gorgeous images, and i LOVED her outfit choices ! who says urban planet isnt good for anything ? candice has the most amazing blue eyes and the cutest baby belly ! candice is a very talented tattoo artist at black & blue downtown nanaimo, for those of you that know me, she has done my 'focus' tattoo on my wrist ! make sure you go see HER, before or after her maternity leave !

with their wedding in just a few short weeks, mel, wes & i got together on a warm sunday evening to connect. i cant stress enough how beneficial it is to do engagement sessions. getting to meet these two made me feel so excited about their wedding day ! they both expressed they were a little awkward with posing for pictures... i don't think so ! there is nothing better then going through your images after a shoot, and smiling, really realizing the love mel & wes have for eachother, it shows. see for yourself.. !
